Hurontario

This neighbourhood takes its name from Hurontario the main arterial roadway that runs through this neighbourhood. This historic street, albeit under various names and configurations runs all the way from the Lakeshore Road in Port Credit, north to Collingwood in Simcoe County. There is still a fair amount of new home construction taking place in this neighbourhood which has a high population desnsity with so many condominium buildings and townhomes packed into a relatively small area. This is a hustle and bustle neighbourhood that enjoys the convenience of being situated close to all the amenities at the nearby Mississauga City Centre which is situated just to the south of Hurontario. Easy access to Highway 401 make this neighbourhood an ideal choice for commuters.
